We love this bit because not only does the blue steel and copper help encourage the horse to salivate, but the copper rings also offer some to occupy busy-mouthed horses.

Features 90 mm rings and a double-jointed,13mm thick mouthpiece made of Blue Steel with copper inlays. 

Blue Steel oxidizes when in contact with air and humidity creating a thin layer of rust which has a sweet taste that will naturally stimulate the production of saliva. By salivating more, horses will take a bit more. With this oxidizing process, the bit color will turn into a greyish brown. The copper elements and the copper rings on the central piece will also have a positive effect on the horse’s relaxation.
